After the success of the previous barbecue, we have organised a second event for the end of summer.

So here are the details as they currently stand:

Saturday 4th September 2010 1pm

Swarraton Village Hall.
Postcode: SO24 9TQ

Bring your own meat and drinks

We may require donations to cover the cost of hiring and are looking for volunteers to help set up/clean up the venue.

I'll make sure to keep the day free this time. I'll happily come and set up / pack up as required. Donations are also not a problem.
If that makes sense

If you (or anyone else for that matter) have raffle donations could you please bring them along on the 17th, 24th or 31st of August so we can get them all sorted properly.

No raffle prizes on the day, please.

Indeed, alot less. Last time served as a nice test and showed up several issues that I would not have otherwise seen. Though this time I will try and bring both the DDR pads. I have located the control box I was after but have an issue I need to find a way around.

All, so we can sort out the equipment requirements can we have some idea of what you want to see there, what equipment is needed etc?

As stated already I plan on bringing both DDR pads. I can provide almost everything needed for this, the only exception is if people want it up on the projector then I will need a screen and if I can nick our backup projector for the day then thats sorted.

What other items are people wanting to be run and what equipment are you able to bring/do you need to organise getting?

We borrowed the screen from the venue last time. I imagine we can do so again.

Good question. There will be a raffle if people donate prizes tonight (17th August) or the Tuesday before (31st August) but if other people want to do things let us know.

Just to reiterate, don't bring raffle prizes on the day, we need to sort them out in advance. If you can't get them to us for the previous tuesday, then hold onto them until next time.

I will definately try to be there! I can't be dead sure at the moment since I might be staying in London the night before but hopefully I should be back for 1 anyway.

You can bring extra people round, as long as you think they can tolerate us weirdos. Food, drink and games are universal.

Failing that, yes, there will be another one - probably some time in the spring.
