Post by Bob790 » Wed Jan 01, 2014 4:54 pm

This post is to announce the return of the BAS AMV contest.

The theme is:

The rules:
:!: Produce one or more AMVs based on the theme of flight.
:!: Use no footage that would require an 18 or higher certificate.
:!: No shorter than thirty-five seconds excluding credits.
:!: No longer than four minutes including credits.
:!: The video must be in a playable format preferably .avi
:!: Any anime & soundtrack may be chosen, so long as the AMV fits the theme.
:!: Provide a version of your video that doesn't identify it's creator for judging. (A second version with full credits for showing is optional)
:!: Multiple entries per person are permitted.

A cash prize will be offered to the winner. Its size will depend on the number of people submitting valid entries.

The contest will run from January 1st.

All entries must be received by August 19th 2014.

If you require help producing an AMV there are several experienced creators that regularly attend BAS, most of whom will offer advice, workshops or support if asked.

If you have other questions post them here.

No shorter than thirty-five seconds excluding credits.
If you have ideas that are shorter than 35 seconds, AMV Basingstoke is still welcome entries - particularly bad ones that should never have been made. I'm fairly sure that's where one of mine is ending up.
Oh, did I say that out loud?
