Hello everyone my name is Ben,
I recently heard about this club from a friend called Carl who is currently attending,
I have only recently started to get into anime and have loved watching it!
Hoping to come along this Tuesday,
This will be my first time doing one of these clubs so I can't wait!

Akame ga Kill!

I'm the guy that sits next to Carl, James.
I have also been watching Owari No Seraph (fingers crossed for a 3rd series), and still yest to watch the 2nd season of Noragami.
My recommendations for you, if you haven't got them planned to watch already.

No Game No Life.
There's also my personal favourite but it is 50 episodes, is Eureka Seven

Otherwise just have a browse through one my lists (below. I try to be critical on ratings, I don't like giving top marks unless it deserves it (passes on: plot/animation/characters).

There's also the list of all the anime we've shown ever since the society started. It's pretty big, but I recommend... about 70% of it? Opinions vary, of course. :)

The Good
=======
Shirobako - Touching, Funny, Slice-of-Life
Log Horizon - Funny, good story arc, interesting characters.
Non Non Biyori - Charming, funny, slice of life
Coffin Princess Chaika S1+2 - Intriguing plot, good action, nicely animated
Girls Monthly Nozaki - Funny, slightly trope-y, fluff but in a good way.
Amagi Brilliant Park - Funny, madcap, well animated.
Garden of Words - Beautiful, well written, too short.
Psycho Pass 2 - Intriguing plot, good drama, good action
No Game No Life - Funny, Interesting art style, slightly predictable
Terror in Resonance - Intriguing plot, good drama, nicely animated.
The Eccentric Family - Funny, quirky, interesting characters
Parasyte - Body Horror, Sci-Fi?, Good suspense
Strike the Blood - Good action, sometimes funny, decently animated.
A-Channel - Charming, funny, Oddly animated
The Unlimited - X-Men the anime, good action, intriguing plot
Love Lab - Funny, quirky, nicely animated

The Middling
=========
Irregular at Magic High School - unevenly paced, intriguing plot, decent action
WiXoss - Interesting plot, dark concept, too much crying/wailing/gasping
Buddy Complex - Generic, well animated, mildly interesting
Yuyushiki - mildly charming, some jokes translated poorly, a little dull
Haganai - fanservicey, hit and miss humour, no real plot
Sparrow's Hotel - Mildly Funny, largely non-sensical, Short

The Fugly
=======
Dog Days - Misleading first two episodes, fanservice, dull
Kin-iro Mosaic - Twee/saccharine, dull, irritating characters
Rail Wars - Fanservice, plot light, predictable
Blade and Soul - Fanservice, dull, no characters of note
Upotte - Offensive, fanservice, plotless
