To be honest i didn't know i was watching anime when i started lol.

I first watched escaflowne and then my friends got me into dragonball z and told me they are called anime and then got recommened stuff and then just looked for myself on what looks cool over the web.

Then i guess i started watching yu-gi-oh and naruto after that and so on.

I caught a late night showing of Devilman on channel 4, then my uncle rented out Fist of the North star the movie. After that I watched whatever was around on VHS in the 90s, the professional, cyber city oedo, geno cyber. At that age swearing and violence in a cartoon was revolutionary, lukcily I have matured since then as well as what I watch!!!!

Not exactly sure when I first discovered Anime. Obviously saw Pokemon on SMTV:Live, along with CardCaptor Sakura on CITV. My brother got me watching Channel 4's Anime season years ago, thats when I realised what anime was.
fast forward to 2005/6 I saw this in a budget book store:

which got me looking/buying even more titles.
