Hi. I look forward to seeing you. If you get lost, just ask one of the hotel staff, they'll be happy to point you to our room.

Where did you first hear about us?

And play some card games. And play with fire. Hopefully not at the same time.

With just over a week to go before this BBQ, I'd like to remind people to bring raffle prizes on Tuesday, and to consider if they want to join the Kezie order we'll be placing.

Ten years

Through no fault of our own, we've apparently been doing this thing for a whole decade. That's ten uninterrupted years of showing anime every Tuesday night * . If you're at all curious what we've managed to fill that decade with (or want to score any points on this year's quiz), you can see the whol...

I agree that instant perfection takes away from the story, but at the same time it's nice to watch people who are already competent at what they do. They don't need to waste time on a beginner's training arc; instead they go right into creating some very interesting recipes.

Sysadmin Things... for which I've been reprimanded Printing and hanging a Certificate of Failure when a coworker brings down a server isn't funny. Replacing a user's shell with a script that only does an animated nyan cat is counterproductive. Vodka, martini glasses, shaker, and mix should not be s...

Box: Variety Item: Malaysian Laksa The soup half of this is nice, provided you don't mind a little heat (though the taste is more herby than spicy). The accompanying nuts-and-coconut half was, sadly, just tantalising enough to make me hungry for more nuts. 3/5 - Like (but will give you the munchies)

Box: Variety
Item: "Bonnie wee Oatbakes"

Onion marmalade and mini oatcakes. Either could have been good ingredients in something, but as a whole this snack doesn't work. I found it too dry and quite dull.

2/5 - Try

As I ways I have a few anime related donations for the raffle, which I will bring the Tuesday before. Are we still ordering from Kezie ? Both good points. Yes, if anybody has suitable contributions for the raffle, please bring them along on Tuesday - or earlier, if you happen to see us. And yes, we...

Box: Variety Item: Slightly Sweet Popcorn and Twist of Black Pepper Popcorn. Both nice and understated. Cooks perfectly in the office microwave, provided you follow the instructions. Makes a surprisingly large bowl from a very little packet, and the flavours mix well, making for good sharing (or sat...
