obviously that is likely to be a Haruhi <sp> reference although most series have transfer students - Ryu (st Luminous) was a transfer student and was fairly mysterious Well Haruhi's usage of a mysterious transfer student was a direct reference to the use of mysterious transfer students in interesti...

I don't like it I must say, it always seems to repeat the same 3 cards over and over and on the occasions where you write in your answer it's horribly pedantic. E.g. "mrs" is a wrong answer, it has to be "Mrs." I'm also not satisfied with some of their transliterations, in "At the restaurant 1" they...

I didnt really like Battle Royale, nearly everyone else I know did though Depends how you look at the movie really, if you just see it as a bunch of gore and killing you might not get that much out of it, but if you see it as a story of the strength of friendship and trust in the face of a life or ...

There's a hell of a lot more kanji in this one compared to my PuyoPuyo. The game seems to play along to a story and you make choices along the way and have battles which, incidentally, are rock/paper/scissor based. I'll have another go later. Ah the old visual novel, they seem to the pretty popular...

I'd say you're being rather generous with Azumi, it was alright yeah, enjoyable, but not quite deserving of a 10/10. Some of my reccomendations: (K = Korean, J = Japanese, HK = Hong Kong) Oldboy (K) Lady Vengeance (K) My Sassy Girl (K) Joint Security Area (K) The Host (K) Battle Royale (J) New Polic...

I've always imagined Moe to be "that warm fuzzy sense of satisfaction" that you get from things. Cute anime girls may be something that might be Moe to you, gardening might be another. Yeah it's this, anyone who boils it over more than this is the kind of otaku that really needs some form of rehab....

but I was under the impression that 好む meant "to prefer" It is extremely difficult to pin a Japanese word down to one single english word, you could perhaps try to wrangle the meaning of the Japanese word into an explanation, much like "Deja vu" except it's like that with almost every word.. I thin...

That's my translation, Babel fish agrees with you. That thing always makes me cry... especially it's English to Japanese translations, it always ends up using rather archaic vocabulary.. English phrase: I like hot toast. My translation: 私は熱いトーストが好きです Babelfish result: 私は熱いトーストを好む First of all the m...

Sadie I posted the message for the others to also read it, that is why i was confused, it looks like a kata kana but its actually a kanji. Doh! There's a few of these really, including some which are pretty much exactly the same as some katakana. タ = Katakana "ta" 夕= Evening "yuu" カ = Katakana "ka"...

I'm Kyouko、I'm waiting for a reply from you. Actually I was planning to give up with the last email, but as I can't endure this kind of feeling anymore, I want to become obedient of course, I want to wait for your reply, that's what I feel. I think I already showed you my pictures. Did it not meet ...
