The society’s meetings are held every tuesday in The Castle pub, near Basingstoke Station. The video programme starts at 7:00 sharp and carries on till about 10:00.

Directions on foot from the Station

Walking out of the front door of the station, turn left straight away, go through the car park and cross Bunnian Place to The Queen’s Head. As you walk into the car park to the left of the Queen’s Head, there is the entrance to a little footpath on your right. Follow this path to find yourself at The Castle.

Directions on foot from Festival Square

Walk away from Festival Place, past the entrance to the cinema. Follow the path under the bridge to the fountains, turn left to go under the bridge into the middle of the roundabout, then right to walk up Basing View. After about 200 metres, you will see The Castle on your left.

  Parking

Unfortunately, the car park directly opposite The Castle is only open over Christmas. The next best place to park is the IBM car park. From town, drive up Basing View and turn left at The Castle into Old Reading Road. Turn right at the end of the road.

Alternatively, you can park in town at Festival Square (area C), and follow the directions above to reach The Castle on foot.
